How to fix Can't find DVD / Cable / Blu-Ray on your Panasonic Smart TV ?

1. Check the input source on your TV

If you are having difficulty finding your device in the TV:

• Attempt pressing the 'Input' button on your remote control. This should bring up a menu with various input options. 
• Use your remote's 'Up' and 'Down' buttons.
• Then press the 'OK' button in the centre to make your selection.

2. Check Input Device

Sometimes, it is not the fault of your TV, but rather the device sending visuals and audio to your TV.

• As a first step, give another device a shot- switch from cable to a DVD or Blu-Ray to see if it plays. If it does, then the trouble is likely not with the TV, but with the device that's giving the TV the signal.
• Try power cycling your cable, DVD, or Blu-Ray player by powering it off, pausing for a small period of time, and then restarting it, and then give it another go.
• If your DVD or Blu-Ray player is functioning properly, but your cable box is not, it is recommended to contact the provider of the cable box.
• If this fixes the issue then you can exit the Menu by Pushing the 'Return' button, or after about 30 seconds it will automatically disappear.

3. Restart the TV

• To turn the TV off, push the Power button on the unit or the remote. 
• Disconnect the TV from the power outlet after that, followed by waiting for 10 seconds. 
• In the end, reconnect it to the power outlet and switch the TV back on using the Power button.

4. Make sure that your DVD/Cable/Blu-Ray player is turned on and connected to your TV correctly

• If you're using an HDMI cable, connect the HDMI output of your DVD/Cable/Blu-Ray player to an HDMI input on your TV.
• If you're using a composite RCA cable, connect the red, white, and yellow cables from your DVD/Cable/Blu-Ray player to the corresponding inputs on your TV.

5. Restart your DVD/Cable/Blu-Ray player

To update the firmware on your TV:

7. Try a different HDMI cable

8. Factory reset your TV
