• Press the "Menu" button on your VIZIO Remote.
• Select the "System" Option.
• Select the "Check for Updates" Option.

• Download the Firmware Version from the above link
• Once downloaded, extract the .zip file (1 .zip file with 2 files inside), and place the 2 files onto a USB drive. Make sure there is nothing else on the USB drive and do not put the files in any kind of folder. VIZIO recommends using a 2gb flash drive and the flash drive must be FAT formatted
• Turn the TV on and place the TV on an input with no content showing. You should see the "No Signal" message
• Insert the newly prepared flash drive into the USB slot.
• A banner will appear at the top of the display acknowledging the installation of a new software
• The TV will then reboot (power off and then power on)
• When the TV powers back on it will show a progress bar. When the progress bar is full, the TV will reboot.
• To verify the new software has been installed, press the menu button on your VIZIO remote and select System, then System Information. The Version should match the above version. Be sure you are looking at "Version" and not "Cast Version".

8. Replace the Power Supply

If all else fails, you may need to replace the power supply to your Vizio TV. 

Here are the steps to replace the power supply if your Vizio TV won't turn on:

• Unplug the TV from the wall and remove the back panel.
