How to Setup an Online Store via Softaculous?

In this guide, we will be using cPanel Control panel as it ships the Softaculous script by default.

Follow the steps below to get your online store started;

i. Start by logging into your cPAnel Dashboard and then once logged in, click on "Softaculous Apps Installer" tool. This tool is located in the "Software" Section.

ii. Next, search for "CubeCart" and click it when found in the left panel of the page.

iii. Now you will see the "CubeCart" description section where you should click on the "Install Now" button.

iv. You will be taken to CubeCart's "Software Setup" section where you can make selections from the drop down. Here you will make choices as per your domain name and set the SSL (https) if applicable.

If SSL is not yet ready for your domain, you need to specify the protocol field as "http://www" or "http://".

v. Now, complete the Store's basic information which includes the name of the store, its physical location, and so on.

vi. Next, create the admin account by imputing a username and password as per the requirement. Also set the Admin Email which CubeCart will use to send you messages regarding your store.

vii. After filling the required fields, then proceed with the installation by clicking on the "Install" button at the bottom of the page.

viii. Once the installation is completed, you will see a "Congratulation" page where you will provided with the links to both your store and the admin login. You can click the "Administrative URL" link to access your store. It is recommended that you bookmark this page so you can access it easier later.
